Positive Affirmations to Embrace Life Transitions with an Open Heart and Mind

We all go through transitions in our lives. Perhaps it’s starting at a new school, pivoting in a career, or uprooting and moving to a new location. Regardless of the reason, engaging in change can be difficult. In my final Find Your Shine blog post, I want to emphasize the importance of being gentle with ourselves during times of change. Below is a list of positive affirmations to reference (for the full effect, say the affirmations out loud to yourself!). 


  1. Transitions help me grow as a person by pushing me out of my comfort zone and into my growth zone. 

  2. I can choose to take things one day, minute, or second at a time.

  3. I know deep down this new chapter is going to be so, so good.

  4.   I get to experience life from a whole new level

  5. This is an opportunity for me to reinvent myself. 

  6. I am excited for what’s yet to come. 

  7. Life is tough and so am I!

  8. I hold so much gratitude in my heart for this opportunity. 

  9. I am exactly where I need to be.


In closing, my time as a clinical coordinator intern at Find Your Shine has been nothing short of fun, rewarding, and beautiful. It has been an absolute pleasure and privilege.
