At Find Your Shine, we’re dedicated to making a positive impact in the mental health community, and we’re looking for passionate therapists and interns to join our mission. Internship Information

At Find Your Shine, we believe in nurturing the next generation of mental health professionals. Our Therapist Internship Program is designed to provide aspiring therapists with hands-on experience in a supportive and challenging environment. Here, you'll have the opportunity to learn from seasoned practitioners, engage in meaningful client interactions, and develop essential skills that will shape your future career.

We invest so much into our wonderful interns and are proud to offer them positions as licensed clinicians upon graduation, if the circumstances permit.

As a Find Your Shine intern, you will receive: 

  • A client caseload of 6-12 clients to whom you will provide individual therapy 

  • The opportunity to co-facilitate a Find Your Shine therapy group with a licensed therapist

  • Weekly individual supervision and weekly intern group supervision

  • Biweekly all-staff group supervision/case consultations

  • Comprehensive training in various therapeutic modalities

  • A CEU stipend to complete a training of your choice

 

Internship requirements: 

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Master of Counseling or Master of Social Work academic program.

  • Must be in-person

  • Must work within allotted internship hours of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 10am to 6pm. 

  • Must attend mandatory internship supervision on Wednesdays from 2-3pm, and group supervision meetings on Thursdays from 3-4pm.

  • Must intern with us for a minimum of 6 months.
